Life and all its shenanigans can sometimes ,ok most of the times , overwhelm you. The weighty school bags, the stress of college assignments, the enervating office hours and deadlines, the social pressures of dating, marriage and procreation and before you realise you have transformed from a perfectly functional human being to a humanised robot. WAKE, WORK, SLEEP, REPEAT !
Well that happens in most cases , until some wise ones gain consciousness to break the rut and start something they really “wish” to do and not something they are “required ” to do.
All of 30 and I had got stuck in life’s drill till I stumbled upon a friend’s blog last year. Blogging fascinated me no end. A place where I can share what I feel and give some “gyaan” and sound cool . Whoa ! The next thing I know is I am attending a session on blogging conducted by the same friend . This friend told me that after attending the session I would start blogging myself and I was like ” Yeah , that ain’t gonna happen ” in my head.
How wrong was I ? For someone who uses the social media to only upload pictures and secretly snoop what my frenemies are up to, this was a huge step.
I was soon introduced to the friendly Blogchatter sessions on Twitter and made a part of a unique BlogBuddy program. Well it started with a boom and stopped with a bang for me .
You know ,for someone who has been changing baby nappies and making baby food straight after royally receiving her MBA degree , I got excited to be doing something I really wanted to and scared and nervous reading other bloggers and their inspiring content.
Convenience took precedence and I gave up blogging thinking I am no good. Went back to “Mum mode” . But Blogchatter did not give up on me. Stubborn huh!
So here I am , part of BlogBuddy new season , blogging again , exhilarated and dancing to “beat pe booty” in my head.
The strength of BlogBuddy is a set of aspiring bloggers who interact and motivate each other in a regular fashion to “blog together to blog better” . It’s all about community, love and inspiring each other.
While I celebrate my return with a glass of chardonnay and some bootilicous music, I wish to thank Blogchatter for another chance and you for reading me and hopefully leaving your feedback .
Hey Garima .. That was such a heartfelt and personal first post. I got to know you better almost like I’ve known you for long – I have a feeling we would get along like a house on fire with fellow #BlogTrotters . Drink up that Chardonnay and shake it up coz things are getting into 5th gear !
